KTA Contract No. 5420 for overlaying an ultrathin bonded asphalt pavement section on the driving and passing lanes from KTA Milepost 112.3 to KTA Milepost 147.9 on the Kansas Turnpike, Chase and Lyon Counties, Kansas, was awarded to Hamm Inc. & Subsidiaries on January 26, 2012. Work on this project is scheduled to begin May 1, 2012, with a final expected completion date of September 28, 2012.
