K-TAG Program Information

Thanks for using the Kansas Turnpike and learning about our most convenient way to pay for your tolls: the K-TAG program. You already use the Turnpike to get where you need to go and we know that you will find driving the Turnpike even more convenient with K-TAG.

K-TAG I: Prepaid/Discount Program (10% fare discount)
Start your account with $40. Then every time you use your K-TAG, we'll deduct the amount from your balance. To earn the 10% prepay discount, just keep a positive balance in your K-TAG account. When you set up your K-TAG I account, you may choose to replenish your prepaid balance by credit card or by check. You can even check your statements online! The KTA does charge 50 cents per month to mail statements. There is a $1 monthly fee per tag. K-TAG always saves you time. And with this 10% discount, K-TAG I saves you money, too.

K-TAG II: Full-fare/Credit Program
While K-TAG II doesn't offer the discount of K-TAG I it's still a great way to save time and eliminate hassle -- without a prepayment. Annual fees run $5 per tag. When you set up your K-TAG II account, you may choose to pay charges by credit card or by check.
