USA TODAY reports a study recognizes the difficulty of installing a child safety seat. Regardless of how hard it may be, a properly installed seat needs to be a top priority for anyone transporting a child.

Driving force: tornado safety on the road

In the March/April issue of Turnpike News, the article “Tornado myths busted: Overpass as shelter theory tops the list” warned motorists against using an overpass as shelter from a tornado. Prior to a predicted severe weather outbreak in mid-April, KTA answered many questions about storm shelters. There are shelters located at 29 KTA facilities.

@iamPARTEE The Turnpike is 55+ yrs old. It pre-dates Interstate system. This was never a tax-supported road.
