We appreciate our commercial travelers

Commercial traffic continues to increase on the Kansas Turnpike and KTA has made various improvements over the years to accommodate those who help grow our economy:

  • Increased the vertical clearance of 54 bridges since 2016 with plans to do more.
  • Lengthened several acceleration/deceleration lanes to accommodate commercial vehicles merging into traffic.
  • Increased commercial parking at several service areas and have off-Turnpike parking in Wichita (Exit 50), Topeka (Rice Road), and Kansas City (Turner Diagonal).

We thank our commercial travelers for their work to keep Kansas’ economy moving.

K-TAG Tip

If you received a new debit or credit card with your new expiration date, you will need to input the entire number to update your payment method. This is because we do not store card numbers in an additional effort to keep your information secure. You can easily update your account with online account management.

Reminder: Contest ending soon!
